Outlook
Brandy Gore's support in the back row will be fundamental as Talaya Whitfield moves to outside hitter this year. With Gore as an option at defensive specialist, the Horned Frogs are open to shuffle the offensive threats.

Freshman Season (2004)
Gore played in 27 matches during her freshman year; her lone start came against San Francisco. She twice tallied double-digit digs: once against Harvard (10) and once against Santa Clara (11) She served up two ervice aces against Prairie View A&M, helping the Frogs total a school-record 17 aces against the Panthers.

High School
A four-year letterwinner at Coronado High School in El Paso, Gore played for head coach Julie Dial. As a freshman, she was selected as her squad's MVP. She was chosen as one of two players to participate in the Youth National Tournament in Utah as a sophomore. Following her senior season, Gore was named the team's best defensive player and also garnered all-city honorable mention accolades. While in high school, she was active in student council, PAWS and was a member of National Honor Society. Gore also played club volleyball with the El Paso Wildfire.

Personal
Born on June 23, 1986, Brandy Danielle Gore is the daughter of Jim and Jane Gore. A pre-major at TCU, she has a pair of younger siblings, Amber and Christian. In her spare time, Gore enjoys drawing, reading and club volleyball.
